Dr. Tao is in private radiology practice in Anaheim, California, serving chiropractic and medical doctors throughout the United States.

Following graduation from National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, Dr. Tao completed his residency at LACC and then did musculoskeletal radiology research fellowship training at UCI Medical Center. He is a regular post-graduate lecturer and is published on the topic of musculoskeletal radiology.

Dr. Tao is part-time faculty at LACC and voluntary instructor of radiology at the UCI Medical Center. He has been a CCA member for 8 years and is the current district secretary and past-president for Orange County. Dr Tao is also a CCSP and CSCS, and member of the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists. He is a regular attendee and speaker for DCS.
