Dr. Deed Harrison D.C.
Dr. Deed Harrison graduated from Life Chiropractic College-West in 1996. Since that time, Dr. Harrison has maintained a high volume practice in Elko, Nevada. He is Vice-President of CBP Nonprofit, Inc., a research foundation, and has published a large number of studies in biomedical journals, including Spine, European Spine Journal, Clinical Biomechanics, Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Journal of Spinal Disorders, Journal of Orthopedic Research, Clinical Anatomy, The Spine Journal, Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development, Journal of Chiropractic and Osteopathy, Chiropractic Technique, Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological therapeutics.
Since 1998, Dr. Harrison has been a manuscript reviewer for Spine. Additionally, he has been a manuscript reviewer for the European Spine Journal, Clinical Anatomy, Clinical Biomechanics, Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the BMC Complimentary and Alternative Medicine Journal.
In December 2005, Dr. Harrison became the most published Chiropractor in the history of the Index Medicus. Since Dr. Deed Harrison’s first publication was in 1996, this volume of publications in some of the most prestigious biomedical journals has occurred in only 10 short years.
Dr. Harrison is the International Chiropractic Association’s (ICA) representative from the State of Nevada. Besides being Chairman of this PCCRP X-ray Guidelines, he was a member of the ICA’s committee to critique the CCGPP “Best Practices” Guidelines, and he is on the ICA’s own “Best Practices” Committee, which is developing new practice guidelines. These new ICA “Best Practices” Guidelines have included all levels of clinical evidence, including Observational Studies without controls (Cohorts, Case Series, and Case Studies).
